Lantern Festival 元宵节

Hi, thanks for reading this post.

This event is about the Lantern Festival, precisely Chap Goh Mei conducted at a temple in Jementah.

I arrived at Jementah around 09:13PM where peoples already gathering along the street with some of the worshiping material including candles, fruits and some Joss paper.
There'll be a fire pit at the intersection of every road which is purposely made by villagers.

Oh yes! I joined in the parade just after I manage get my car parked at somewhere safe as I could describe. :D

The first object that caught my eyes was a "chair", a chair with a god sitting on it which is mobilize by the villagers as shown in the photo :

The face of the villagers were tired yet happy.

本次活动是关于元宵节，正是在Jementah寺庙进行的。 

我到达Jementah周围下午9点13在那里的人民已经随着一些崇拜的材料，包括蜡烛，水果和一些金纸的街道上聚集。 

那里还有一个用金纸烧的火坑在每一条道路的交叉点上 

哦，是的！我参加了游行当我把我的车放好之后 :D 

引起了我的眼睛的第一个对象是一个“椅子”，与神坐在里面 它是由村民来调动椅子的

村民们的脸上都累了还高兴。

As you can see, villagers are bearing the "chair" I described.

Candles and bells on the chair fell off and villagers quickly fix it.
有些东西跌出来了所以村民停下来赶快修理

Things starts to work and villagers starts move again.
一切恢复正常了..

It's not only the "chair" that occupy the parade, there's also floats along the parade and these make the event give some sort of feeling like.. "Chinese New Year" wait.. it's still in Chinese New Year right? Haha.

不只是有神座噢！还有花车在路上游行，非常的热闹 还有一架花车装满了喇叭 带来新年歌 和新年的气氛 =D

Then the parade stop directly in front of the temple, where I took the opportunity to take some photograph of the god on the cars where I proudly present at the bottom.

当游街停止过后，我溜进去庙里拍了几张神座的照片

Following photos were the decorations prepared to amuse tourist and visitor. Absolute fascinating!! :P

New Year, New Wishes for Everyone

As it counted on, it's the 10 January 2014 (assemble the 9th day after Chinese New Year) and it's always been a tradition for my family and I to celebrate, precisely worship the Heaven's Temple (天宫). It is said to bring prosperous and luck to family for this coming whole new year. A good starting ain't them? Haha.
For the day, a lots of preparing need to be done especially those golden papers (金纸) that need to be folded forming an ancient gold structure which will be used as a medium to be burn down during the worshiping ceremony.

It's a really fun day, for me of course. There's steamboat and goat's limp prepared to satisfy the craft of hunger of invited guest.
