Island to visit, Langkawi be my first

19/10/2014

Hi, I'm here to write my diary again. This time, it's a trip to Pulau Langkawi. I had to drive alone to Sri Kembangan to meet my friend, Louis. I started my journey at 1030 and reached his house at 1300. Due to some "technical problems", my friends and I reach KL Sentral approximately 1 hours late than expected. However, everything turned out to be okay. We took Sky Bus to Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2) and waited for departure. It's my first time boarding aeroplane and I felt excited about it. At first, I don't really like the way of waiting at departure sectors. The seat of Air Asia aeroplane also quiet small and I don't feels comfortable at all. Perhaps, it's my first time boarding aeroplane after all. Once the plane started its engine, my feeling turned out to being quiet excited. I'm curious about the function in every part of the airplane. How such of a big thing can fly up above the sky? In addition of adding such amount of passengers. Suddenly, I felt engineers really did an awesome job in the past. I don't speak much, I only mumble about how the airplane's wings function and the moment it soared up above the sky, I stunned. The sky was wonderful. It's white, soft, cotton-like shape. However, about 20 minutes of flight, a captain informed us that the weather was not as expected and reminded us to take some precautions steps. After the plane stopped, we called for car rental (pre-order) and check in motel. Here's some photos of the sky and motel.

A for Amazing, B for Birthday!

15/10/2014
0700~1000
Hi all,  what's new on this post? Well, nothing new but still an important occasion. It's Nic Birthday. Whose Nic? I will let you know on photo sections later. He looked happy today. How happy? Have you ever seen a dolphin in amusement parks? Ya, it's smiling no matter had what happened. It's a compliment, I insist. A birthday is greatly associated with venues, and where is it? Sizzling Stonegrill at AEON Jusco Malacca. This venue is a romantic, dim-lighted, quiet and relaxing place, yet still become one of the best places to celebrate one's birthday. It is located in a shopping centre after all. This place indeed deserves some rating, except for its above-average-priced foods.

Since this blog is themed on places and foods, this blog will of course introduce you foods and
drinks. First of all, stare/look/observe/focus on the picture on the right. You recognize this picture? If not, now you should do. One of the famous restaurant here, in Malacca. The theme of this restaurant is stone, grilled, raw food, where the foods are then placed on sizzling hot, burning stone. This mean food served best for customers (since the meat itself was raw).
P/s : Please wait until foods are cooked before you serve.

Trip and Fall Part 2

Saturday, 11/10/2014
0000 ~ 0100
While everyone was busy playing simple board game (Police Vs Killer), I went out to capturing some night view photographs, mainly focused on the Clock Tower of Muar, Royal Crown of Muar and First Muar Bridge. These place are famous due to it's magnificent, colorful light during the night and had become one of the most famous tourist attractions in Muar. Everyone knew about this place when you tell them, Muar-ians. A WOW factor given when I see the clock tower closed up, indeed a beautiful piece of architecture, including the bridge too. Perhaps, fishing was a kind of famous hobby around here because all I can see was people lining up along the bridge, not to mention motorcycles too. A big, tired day to end with after all.

0900 ~ 1200
Can I suggest that 0900's are actually kinda early for me? I can't even make my eyes open. Breakfast, a meal that I skipped for almost everyday, was taken in my friend's house (again). This time, handmade shumai made my day. According to his parents, these shumai-s were not available at the other place and it were out of order before noon. I'm glad to be able to lay my hands on them. Yummy~! Not to mention, the noodles made by his mother were delicious as well. At some points, I felt that the foods were too much for me. Happy moments passed quickly as the dateline for hotel check-out had reached. I check-out of the hotel after having a nice, comfortable bath.

What's next? Again, I reached Tanjung Emas. However, it was a different part of Tanjung Emas. Did I forget to mention that Tanjung Emas was quiet big? Well, now I do. Since Muar was an estuary and I went to it's river sides, sea side view was a compulsory place to visit after all. This side, a long, plain yet beautiful, tarred road awaiting walkers to walk and enjoy the coastline view. However, the haze was quiet heavy at the time and reduce its rating. I could see some people enjoying fishing there, people walking along the path and nothing else. A place to relax and free up your stressed mind, I suggest. At the very end of the path, there was a small jetty-like bridge, zig-zag-ed along the coastline towards the sea, yet not very far from the land. Along the bridge, I could see mangrove trees and few monkeys. First thing came to my mind is "Oh! I love Malaysia". Afterwards, I went back to river sides and take some day light photographs to say good bye to such a fine place. It deserved some rating.

1400 ~ 1800
After a tired, long, hot, muggy walking on the path, I spent my time at Oasis Bay. Oh! Not a bay actually, it was a simple, small, quiet farm which is a best place to rest at. Well, still a farm after all and it wouldn't lack of cows, plants, useful tree, lake and a shelter. Well, when I say a shelter, it means a big kind of dominatory for students, at least 20 of them able to fit in and WHY? Well, this place was rented to a group of people/pupils to spend time together doing activities and events during school holiday. I strongly recommend a place like this for school activities to be held. It is a best way to spend your holiday with nature. I'm a nature lover after all. The painting on the wall surrounded the Oasis Bay caught my attention when I entered. Perhaps, it was the most attractive things in Oasis Bay, other doesn't differs too, I drank coconut milkshake here too but it was not as tasty as coconut milkshakes in Malacca. Well, it doesn't mean it were not tasty, I manage to finish it all, alone. Lets see some photos for better understanding.

1800 ~ End of trip, Fall.
Well, it turned to the end of the trip. Actually, its not the end of the trip. I went to Sweet Sweet House in Muar Town. It was a cute, adorable, pink cafe which was mostly consist of Hello Kitty dolls yet creepy (for me). If I'm a girl, this is my place. I repeat, MY PLACE. I also dropped by at Bentayan Road to purchase some otak-otak for my family when I got home. I'm missing Muar already. Farewell.

Trip and Fall

Friday, 10/10/2014
0615 ~ 1300
Tired and exhausted. Yea, spend the other night drinking tea with friends. Yet, excited to visit the place where I heard a lots and manage to spend a night there. Where is it? Muar The Royal City, of course. However! Before that, I manage to spend few hours in Tangkak and it's famous waterfall spot, Gunung Ledang. The water, oh my holy god! It's so cold. The plunge pool of the waterfall is so deep that I can't reach the floor with my own feet. Caution must be taken, because the strong downwards stream almost drown me. Well, it's morning after all. Frost bite hand can't held camera. =)
I wanted to reach the floor of the plunge pool. Yes, I admit I can't. =P

Leaves fall from tree as soon as wind blew, this give a soft and relaxing feeling

1300 ~ 1500
Soon, I arrived at the Glutton Street, Muar. My opinion is the place appear to be very, I repeat very muggy. Perhaps, due to haze or maybe right under the sun, I don't know. Still, I manage to enjoy every little food out of the street that's been so famous in Muar Town. There were varieties of food I enjoy much at the street, such as Fried Oyster and Otak Otak. Additionally, the street brings some nostalgic feeling. Just like classic Chinese town 50 years back then. Perhaps, due to old building where I came to notice that the oldest is 1756 built. There were few photo of food I've taken :
Roasted Pork : : 烧肉

Roasted Pork & Roasted Chicken Rice : : 烧肉烧鸡饭

Fried Oyster : : 豪煎

Pork Satay : : 猪肉沙爹

Otak Otak

Salted Pork Ears : : 猪肉卤耳

Chrysanthemum Tea : : 菊花茶
1500~2100
Soon after, I went to check in the hotel booked earlier. Well, grateful mind speaks "Rest Time". Perhaps, I've been so old that I can't manage to get through entire day without a power nap. Anyone found out that I was joking? Haha. I've slept for few hours. Yeah, a complete waste of time and I couldn't resist the "gravitational pull" of the bed with an addition of air-conditioner efforts. (Perfect temperature to hibernate). I should get enough rest before I manage to travel. I went to have my dinner in my friends house. Although, there were no pictures taken but I still wanted to say, a completely tasty food made by friend's parents. Special thanks to them for giving me such a delicious meal to end my day with. His house, a WOW factor, was big. A kampung style kind of house, although lack of wooden wall. Also, his house was full of old, ancient antique yet functional. I'm really impressed. I only manage to take pictures of his pet. Shame on me. xP
The hotel I lived in. Simple yet comfortable.
It's telling me that "No matter who you're, you came to my house. I'm watching you"

Chicks, a lots of chicks and they were cute!
2100 ~ The End of the Day
After having such a wonderful meal, I went to Tanjung Emas Park. I personally felt the park was crowded, pretty place with astonishing well-designed building structure. The night was accompanied with round, beautiful, perfectly circle moon. The view from Tanjung Emas was directly towards Muar first bridge, and it gave a cheerful color during the night. Not to mention, plenty of activities can be carried out there such as bubble blowing, RC car, night-time photo capturing. There's plenty of people blowing bubbles and playing RC car though. Not to mention, majority were dating under such magnificent, romantic night. Night view around the area was nice. I manage to get some picture out of the nice view. Upon all of it, this place deserve some rating.
White Clock Building, looking as if White House version in M'sia.

The night view at Tanjung Emas (Muar River View)

Along the side walk, there were many couples dating here.

As mention, a beautiful, magnificent round moon appear on the night sky.

The L.E.D artificial around appear to give the environment more romantic atmosphere.
